Scholarship Alum Accepted to University of Alabama for Masters Program in Public Health and Physicians Assistant Studies
Maryn attended Elon University in North Carolina and was awarded a scholarship from Second Core Foundation for the four years that she was there working on her degree in Pre-Med and Public Health. She graduated in May 2017 and was selected as an Elon-Almanace Health Partner, a year-long service fellowship in public health, at the local hospital near Elon.
Second Core has been so proud of the diligent and hard working student that Maryn has proved to be over the years. It has been a blessing to be a part of her journey from newly graduated high-school senior just starting out to a woman who knows what she wants and is on the road to completing her goals. In 2018 she was able to help a community in Greensboro recover from a tornado as a part of a service fellowship.
